Masters of Clinical Psychology (Macquarie University, Sydney 2006-2009).  

Laura is a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience and a Masters in Clinical Psychology.  She has helped people with a range of psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment to change, grief, anger management, communication, substance abuse, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem, emotional eating, workplace issues and interpersonal problems.  Laura is committed to developing her professional knowledge and skills so that she can provide the most effective and up-to-date treatment for her clients. 

Laura started her counselling career in 2003 as a volunteer telephone counsellor for Lifeline Australia and has worked as a psychologist since 2006. She has worked in a range of settings, including private practice, university and high school counselling, hospitals and an employee assistance provider.  

Laura enjoys collaborating with her clients to help them develop insight, harness their personal strengths and learn new strategies for dealing with emotions and life issues.

Laura brings warmth, compassion and professionalism to her work.  She draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, tailoring treatment to suit the needs and goals of each client. Laura has experience in the following approaches:

  • Schema Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (includes mindfulness)
  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy
  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy
  • Eye-Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Positive and Coaching Psychology techniques.

Adriana is our valued Practice Manager. She brings over 15 years experience in Allied Health practice management and medical administration, along with a background in luxury hospitality management. Adriana’s combined expertise allows her to prioritize exceptional client care while efficiently managing day-to-day operations. Her warm and friendly approach, coupled with her genuine care and passion for helping people, ensures that clients always receive warm and attentive service.

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Adriana finds joy in exploring holistic health and healing practices, practicing yoga, horseback riding, and cherishing quality time with her human and furry family, which includes two cats and a dog.
